Crescendo Builders offers two different levels of service for our home projects; Express Projects and Custom Projects. Express projects require little or no design. Custom Projects necessities the need to explore different design options and determine unknowns.

Custom Projects Process

Initial Consultation

PHASE 1 - Preliminary Design/Feasibility Design

  • Meeting with Client
  • Measure existing space
  • Preliminary check of structural systems
  • Develop floor plans and elevations

PHASE 2 - Design Development

  • Meet with client and refine design
  • Review design with HVAC, plumbing and electrical contractors
  • Review design with structural engineer, if necessary
  • Develop Preliminary cost budget with allowances

PHASE 3 - Construction Documents

  • Prepare Construction Documents
  • Develop Detailed Construction cost with a set of allowances
  • Assist with final design and product selections
  • Submit Final Construction Cost with allowances

PHASE 4 - Construction

  • Prepare and maintain detailed schedule of Project
  • Weekly meetings with client
  • Co-ordinate subcontractors and inspectors
